Julia Gendreau (Rams Horn)

Order of the Rams Horn
War of the Roses, Baron Angus Kerr
Awarded May 25, 2008 (A.S XLIII - 43)
Re-awarded May 30, 2010 (A.S.XLV - 45)
I chose to complete this backlog baronial scroll for Julia Gendreau since I spend time fencing with her practically every week. First step, persona information. Luckily for me I know a guy that knows a gal...

March 29, 2010: YAY! I just received the words back from Lady Lorita. Still not quite sure what I'm going to do in the way of design but it'll come to me!

April 19, 2010: After having such a wonderful trip down to The Met on Saturday I came back very inspired and with a fair few ideas. So much so that on Sunday I was able to sit down and decide on a design, even managing to draft most of it out!

May 5, 2010: So, I was off from work all last week and was able to get finish a bunch of projects that I've been working on. This scroll being one of those items. I'm very pleased with and can't wait for it to be handed out.

Words by Lady Lorita deSiena

It has been stated that "the female of the species is deadlier than the male." One only needs to look at Lady Julia Gendreau to know that this is true. Her prowess on the fencing lists makes her a formidable foe. She and her weapons move as one, with grace, agility, and deadly aim. Yet she is also courteous at all times, and an unending willingness to help others, showing that beneath the ferocity, there is an elegant lady.

For these reasons do we, Angus Kerr, Baron Concordia hereby induct Lady Julia  Gendreau into our noble Order of the Ram's Horn. Done on the 25th day of May, Anno Societatis XLIII at our War of the Roses in the Barony of Concordia of the Snows.
