Words by Master Grim the Skald and Aoife inghean Conchobair

The great Queen and King of Tygers call
keen-minded Mhari to come before
finely-worked East-throne and listen well
to words of reward for wit and mirth.

She has told us tales of troubled kings
calling on warriors to kill their foe,
fine ladies betrayed, and truthwords sweet
to satisfy pledge, surprising skald.

Two Viking households commend her here,
hail royal patrons who praise her voice
and vessel present as sign of fame.
Favored fledgling bard whose stories soar.

By the will of King Lucan and Queen Jana, Mhari Brewbane became a member of their Order of the Troubadour at the 40th Pennsic War in the Kingdom of Aethelmearc.
